The hunk knows that 'rock of ages' tanked at the box office, don't think the hunk doesn't know... What YOU don't know is that the hunk does not follow the main stream and conventional wisdom... so the hunk LOVED this movie! I mean, granted, Tom Cruise was hideous in it, I'll agree. However, the young couple, the studly revelation Mr. Bonetta and Mrs. Huff was exquisite! The opening scene in the Greyhound bus is one of the most poetic I've seen in a loooong time. It captures the secret camaraderie between the passengers of a greyhound bus during a long trip. I recommend this movie!

How disappointing... Just a piece of filmographic excrement. I can see where the director was going, this was supposed to be an attempt at cinegraphic poetry. Granted, at times, at microseconds really, there are faint echoes of the magnificence of some of Mr. David Lynch's masterpieces - very faint and distorted echoes, that is... If you like nonsense, by all means, be my guest, go see it!

This movie is exactly what one would expect and it does not disappoint... Mr. Tatum shows his beautiful asset within the first few (if not the first, I can't remember) scenes and it is just the first piece of an array of eye candy parading in front of the audiences' hungry eyes. Again, I need to commend Mr. Tatum for the slab of tight meat that is his body. Mr. Pettyfer is a close second. He is shorter but younger and equally lustful.A great movie!

the amazing spiderman

What a beautiful movie! What a visual poem! Head and shoulders over every other bullsnot superhero movie churned out by the Hollywood goo machine over the last few years... Only Ang Lee came close a few years ago with the first Hulk movie in poeticizing the superhero genre.. Mr Webb, also noted for his beautiful '500 Days of Summer' obviously has a filmology of light and a poetic vision in mind. Every scene is a poem. Notice the surreal poetry of the fight scene between spidey and the lizard in the high school corridor.
