kind of white-washed rendition of the man, kind of more family-friendly than reality probably, an attempt to portray a possibly decadent story as a great homoerotic love affair. I don't really buy it but then again I was touched by the fact that these two guys had such a lasting relationship and supposedly never missed a dinner together.
